Worst atmosphere ever !!!!! Owner is a complete egotistical maniac and deserves to lose this establishment!!!! You can't treat people like slaves and excpect them to come back!!!

If you are looking for a legit pub to watch the game, Lucky's is it! We stopped by last week for lunch, we tried a few of their specialty drinks all of which were tasty. For lunch we ordered two pizzas, the Mediterranean and the bbq chicken, crust was perfectly crisp and both had awesome flavors! We will be back!

Will never go back. The food lacked flavor. Example: Ordered the steak tips mid, was told they are "pre-cooked" so i can't order them to temp. I thought "ok", but they were horrible. tasted like leather and i've eaten some pretty low grade cuts of beef. However my table ordered a sandwich and tenders and fries that food was "fine". The tables are VERY small and service was "ok". They must do something right late night as the parking lot is usually full.

Everything was great! The food was fresh and made to order, our server was friendly and attentive, and we will be making this as one of our favorite local go to places.

I've been to Lucky's several times and usually just have beers (good selection), some appys and watch a game (lots of TVs). The place is basically an Irish Sports Bar and it is sufficient for that. My problem with the place is with the management. And you can see from other reviews that this is an ongoing problem. Here's what happened: They have a trivia night on Wednesdays and a group of friends and I went to watch a game in early April. We decided to take part in the trivia that night and actually won!! The Dj came over and handed us a $25 gift card and we left. Fast forward about 3-4 months. I come in to Lucky's with a colleague of mine and we were going to have dinner and drinks. We ordered some pizza (which is the best thing on the menu and quite good), had some beers (good selection), and watched a game on the TVs. Our server was great. She came over with the bill and I handed her the gift card and my debit card. The server had another employee come over and explain that the gift card had been denied because it had been canceled (?!!?). Confused, I asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over to our table and from the stench of booze and his awkward gate it was immediately obvious that he was intoxicated. In slurred speech, he proceeded to tell me that my team did not win Triva that night in April and I was lieing. Baffled, I asked him how I could be in possession of the card if we did not in fact win and he could not answer. The drunken manager than offered to give me $5 off my bill as if that would somehow make up for it. So much for the customer always being right! I told him to shove it and paid full price. I will never go there again and tell everyone I know about the incident. Also, my colleague explained that he once had been given a small $ amt gift card to Lucky's in the past and they would not honor it either. Seems to be an on going issue. Be forewarned!

Food is terrible. Not a bad place to watch a game though.

Only went once. The chowder was good but the clam cakes were burnt.

This is a really good place for some good food. The portions are seriously HUGE!! I once got the cajun chicken sandwich and the chicken piece was twice the size of the bun. You definitely get your moneys worth!! The pizza's a pretty good too! My favorites are the chicken pesto and the buffalo chicken. I have never had a bad experiecne here and I have been here MANY times! Sometimes they have a great offer on Groupon with no limits on how many you can buy. I definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner!!

  • Cheryl B.

Do not go here!!! You will be treated very unfavorably by management should you encounter an issue...which you will, undoubtedly!! The worst management to guest encounter imaginable.

  • Mark B.

Had an amazing experience here! The prices are low, the food is great, and the portions are huge!!! Three people in my party all ordered off different parts of the menu and all of it was amazing! BTW Saturdays prime rib special is a must!!!

Decent sports bar type of place if you want to have a beer or a drink, I guess. The service was sub par at best. Very slow service, I had to keep reminding the server about my drink order, after putting my drink order in, as the server seem to keep saying "Oh yeah, sorry about that, I'll get it". When when others food came out they forgot mine, when I asked 15 minutes later (figuring the server would have said something), the server said he forgot to put the order in, and gave me "...sorry do you want me to put it in for you now?", ugh, no thanks. I tried another visit last night with some friends who wanted to meet there. Same drill with the drinks, but I actually did get the food this time. I took literally one bite and it was terrible, one of the worst meals at a restaurant. I tried a second bite just to make sure I wasn't crazy and even asked someone sitting with me and they all agreed. I asked the server to take it away and to not even bother taking it off my bill, cause I was so embarressed that I was served a meal that bad and I had to ask to take it away. She asked me what was wrong and I said that it was just really horrible. I figured a manager probably would come over seeing a full meal not even touched brought back to be tossed. But no, nothing, I didn't care about paying for it really, but was surprised no one bothered to ask. It will be the last time foe me at least I'll be there and will be sure to mention it to anyone that asks me my opinion.

Typical sports bar atmosphere with a dozen or so TV's. Food was delicious and everything tasted homemade. The Shephards pie was nicely seasoned ground beef with corn, carrots and very good mashed potatoes. My wife had the white pizza which was very good, thin, crispy and nice sized.

Normally good, recently went and their chips and dip were cold and burnt . I never sent things back but asked for new plate and they clearly heated up the burnt chips which the manager actually served. Lovely waitress, but disappointed in the food . Usuallyi go there twice month and i think this may change, thought they were better than that

My husband and I went in for apps the other evening and we were blown away! We were celebrating our anniversary and were planning on having dinner at Hemenways in Providence but wanted to try appetizers at Luckys. We ordered the steak poppers and the crispy shrimp app...i forget the name! The shrimp was perfect! Lightly battered tossed in an awesome aioli! I literally could have drank that sauce. The steak poppers were cooked to perfection! The bacon that was wrapped around it was crisp and the cream cheese jalapeno filling was so yummy! The food at Lucky's outshined the fancy overpriced food at Hemenways! We cant wait to go back! If the rest of their food is anything like those apps then we are in for a real treat! Keep up the good work Luckys!!

I went to Lucky's after receiving a recommendation from a friend. It was overall a pretty good experience but nothing 5 star. My husband and I sat at the bar that proved a granite-top bar is not the smartest idea since alcohol + glass + stone = broken glass. We had a friendly and attentive bartender named Tommy who took good care of us. I had the steak tips (done to my request as medium well) with sweet potatoe fries and cole slaw. My dh had fish & chips. Both were very good; generous portions, fairly priced and correctly plated. We each a craft beer; the selection is good but nothing that makes this into a craft or specialty beer bar. Still... I like this place because it feels like a place that adults can enjoy with their children. There is enough televisions, booth seating and good prices to make this into a family affair. Next time, I will bring the kids--- and reserve our time at the bar for just me and my husband.

Good food and good times... People who work there are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. I'll be going back next time I'm in town

Took the only thing I liked on the menu I liked the meatball sliders. I have to say this is one of the most in accommodating places ever

To start off, I definitely am glad I read reviews. Pleasantly surprised. Don't be fooled by the outside. A typical sports bar with all the tvs, but not loud. A family-type crowed. Older couples and some younger families. Food was delicious. My order came out wrong twice, but management was completely on top of it and made it perfect. They were so friendly, kind, caring, and very very very good with fixing my order to my perfect liking. AMAZING PICKLES. I am a pickle connoisseur. If I could I would buy their pickles to bring home. So delicious. I was so happy with the staff, drinks, pickles, and delicious food. So was my tummy!

This place is pretty good. The drinks are good the staff is nice and good parking.the food is typical bar food that is good but nothing to write home about. It is better the hungrier and drinker you are though ;)~

I have eaten here a few times. We were brought in by a crazy cheap Groupon once and have continued to go in after. This Place is a great bar scene with decent craft beers. I usually have a burger with blue cheese and onions. It's huge and juicy. I almost could not finish it. The Fries that come with it are good too. Crispy and Hot. I had buffalo Mac and cheese last time I was there and it was nothing short of amazing. Fried chunks of buffalo chicken in a creamy cheese sauce yum. One Time we went service was a little Slow. Our server kept forgetting our drinks but she was new.I'm assuming this was a one time thing and will Be back again soon. Go check it Out and bring me with You.

Decent Bar Lucky's is a decent Irish "like" bar with a bunch of TV's. They always have deals on apps and nightly specials as well. After shopping in Seekonk, it's not a bad spot to grab an app and a bar. They have live music sometimes and a wing contest every week. Servers are always nice and responsive and try to make you feel at home. Thanks

  • Rachael L.

I have come here several times with friends during the evening when they have live jazz and I enjoyed myself every time. The food is NOT fine dining so don't come here expecting it. Warn your foodie friends that it's unhealthy bar food but they serve large portions and the atmosphere is cozy and fun. Come here with a small group of friends and have a great time!

    (5)
  • Aia T.

Their salads are great and they have huge servings! Cant even finish my bowl! Their classic grilled pizza is simple yet hits the spot! Royah, our server was also very pleasant and made sure that we had everything we needed. I want to be back to try their wings and I bet they are as good as their calamari.

  • Heather V.

I always like the chance to grab dinner here. They changed their menu a while back, but it is still very good. They have your standard bar food with a unique twist. The have a full bar and are a great place to watch sports on T.V.

This was my first time coming to luckys and came with a group of friends after we played a round of golf. The place wasn't packed for 8 on a Monday. We were seated right away and the hostess was very nice and personable. There are televisions all around the restaurant that televise all the main sporting events and if you ask they will allow you to change the channel to a game you are interested in watching. They do not have a wide selection of draft beers, but there selection for bottles is very limited. When we ordered it was on Wing Monday and the wings were 25 cents each. However, you need to buy a drink, water doesn't count, if you want ranch or blue cheese on the side it's extra, you have to buy at least ten wings, and you can only get one flavor at a time. So you can't get like five BBQ and 5 Buffalo. The wings were very small and overlooked. We also ordered burgers and I ordered the "ChuckWagon" burger. The burgers come with a side of fries, chips, or a side salad or you can get sweet potato fries or onion rings for a $1.75 more. I asked for the burger to be medium rare, and it was prepared medium. Also the fries I received were very soggy, and not very good. The burger itself wasn't anything to boast about, I wouldn't recommend getting it if you are looking for a burger with a lot of flavor and a good patty. The burger is rather big, and is very filling. Also, The house chips were crispy and were served with a horseradish sauce that complemented the chips well. I would get these if you are looking for an appetizer to share amongst a large group of people. The service we had at Lucky's was terrible. The waitress messed up our orders and would never return to see if we needed refills or anything else. It was very hard to get her attention when we were trying to simply get a bottle of ketchup. The food itself took almost an hour and my friends and I were getting frustrated with the long wait. Also when we got the check we specifically asked for separate checks and she still only brought us one check for the whole table. Then when we asked to do the check separately she refused. We were looking for somewhere with great bar food and beers and it offered exactly what we wanted. The food wasn't great, but the prices were fair and the sports bar theme works very well for them. I will probably come back again in the near future, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a place to eat.

Ordered fish tacos, the baked fish fell apart which was great but it lacked flavor so I had to add some hot sauce on it. The tacos had lettuce and salsa on it but even the salsa didn't have flavor. The side of rice and beans was fine. Seems to have a great beer selection there, maybe a good happy hour place. I went for lunch and I thought it was a little on the pricey side, my tacos were $15 and the burger was $13. Had a groupon so that helped with the bill but without that I think it is a little expense ice for a bar. I would probably give them another chance but I wasn't overly impressed.

Went the other night and sat outdoors. The outdoor atmosphere was comfortable. The waitress was pleasant. The food was delicious. I will return.

I've been to Lucky's before and knew what to expect. It was Football Sunday and we just wanted to have a relaxing lunch while watching the games on their numerous TVs. It's fantasy football playoff time and I am in it to win it! We were quickly greeted, seated and given menus. All seats have views of the many TVs. The Patriots weren't playing yet so there were families with young children. I would imagine this place gets insane during a Patriots game. Our waitress came by and quickly took our drink orders. I only had a glass of Cabernet. Their cocktail list seemed much shorter than it has in the past and most drinks sounded more appropriate for summer. After quickly delivering our drinks, our waitress took our order - Dublin Nachos (made with house-made potato chips) for an appetizer and a buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings for me and fish and chips for my husband. Diet be damned. We had just started to settle in with our drinks when our entrees arrived. Where were our nachos? The waitress apologized and said she forgot to put them in and would get them out to us right away. Within five minutes they arrived. So here we are, probably not even 20 minutes after arrival with a table full of food that arrived all at once and that is the type of food that isn't going to taste all that good once it cools. Cold onion rings and potato chip nachos anyone? So much for my relaxing lunch. The food was just OK. The table next to us got a pizza and that really did look delicious. When the bill came there was nothing comped, not even a beer, for the mistake with the nachos. I'll probably go back again, during football season. ****************************************** 12/11/14 - I need to add that the owner has contacted me a few times, very apologetic about my mediocre experience and asking detailed questions about was was wrong so they can get it right next time. I wish all business owners felt this way.

Had a craving for some Pub grub recently so we decided to try Lucky's again. Haven't been back since it first opened as we were disappointed with our meals. Much happier this time around. We sampled the Buffallo wings and Calarmi. The wings were the best Ive ever had out. Taste just like home made. I'd like to go there again to just chow on a bucket full. The calamari was good too. Fresh, light, crispy and accompanied with good marinara/hot peppers just the way I like it. But what really won me over was the Buffallo Chicken Mac and Cheese. OMG I would have given five stars just for that. It was incredible!!! Too bad they shorted me on the pint of guiness I requested. I got a 12 ounce instead. My companion was happy with his burger. Said it was really tasty. Will def be back!!!!

I stopped in here because it was close to my daughter's hospital and I was ravenous. It's a cavernous place completely encircled by huge TVs tuned to sports. OK. Generally not my thing, but I was there and hungry. The place was practically empty, maybe 10 folks at the bar. I picked a table right near the end of the bar and ordered a beer. Seriously, how long does it take to pour and deliver a pint of beer? 10 minutes? The waitress was such a slacker, scuffing along at a snail's pace in her Uggs. She was clearly bored to death. She FINALLY came back to take my order of a bowl of chili. Again, how long does it take the dude in the kitchen to ladle some hot chili into a bowl, garnish it with pre-shredded cheese and pop it under the salamander. 20 minutes? And the tortilla chips served with it were clearly the end of the bag: an ugly heap of stale dregs. The chili was actually good, but everything else, including the slacker service, sucked. Skip it.

I am so disappointed in the new menu at Lucky's. They took off the Salmon Burger which was delicious. I gave it a 3 because of my waitress. She was very nice. BRING BACK THE SALMON!

I had the blackened salmon salad sans the tortilla strips. Really good healthy option. The salad was huge too! Hubby had the PUB Burger. He said it was ok. Friday night about 7:30pm. Decent crowd. We were seated right away. Had the berry martini....good! Hubby had the Blue 42. Not very good.

I was on business in the Providence area for about a month and ended up staying at an extended stay in East Providence. After the first few days of hitting the chain restaurants I needed a place that had real food with flavor beyond salt. Just down the road from the extended stay I stumbled on a place called Lucky's Bar and Grill. The place is located in a two business strip mall (the other business is a laundry mat) and is some what described as an Irish type pub. I would call it more of an American pub and sports bar myself. The bar area is nice with granite top and pleasing wood furnishings. The staff is friendly and customer oriented from the hostess to the bartenders and the wait staff. I was right at home having dinner at the bar, watching the wide screens and conversing with the other customers and bartenders. What sets this place off the most is its food. You can tell it's made from scratch verses what you may get at a chain. While on the regular menu, there is a pizza night where you can build your own pizza. I am pretty much a Chicago pizza bigot, even when it comes to thin crust, and thought the pizza at Lucky's was excellent. It had a thin crispy crust with fresh ingredients. I have also had the sliders and the grilled ribs on rib night (which I think is Thursdays). Both were good. While I did not have one of their burgers two of my co-workers did and commented it was the best burgers they have had in a while. So if you are looking for a friendly place, not too pricy and with great food Lucky's is the place!

Probably would give more stars if I had just ordered beer... beer selection ok, the usual for this type of bar, aka TGIFridays or Chili's or Applebees. But the food is subpar at best, $12 for a veggie burger & fries?!! Bun was dry/ stale, burger was probably Boca or similar cardboard brand, had 1 leaf of lettuce and 1 slice of tomato, oh and a glob of sauce. I've had better at the airport.

Lucky's owner is NOT hospitable and should not be allowed to interact with the customers. We were at Lucky's at 7pm on a Saturday night 9/27. My husband asked the manager to speak with the owner. The owner swaggered over to our table and immediately began with a condescending tone calling my poor husband "pal & douce bag". We were in utter SHOCK! I assure you my husband is gracious and civilized and in no way deserved such harsh and degrading treatment. My husband even asked the owner to take their conversation over to a private area as his sheer volume was causing the other patrons to become uncomfortable. No good came of this request as the owners tone became even louder and more obscene. In closing my advise and firm recommendation would be to avoid Luck's in EP like the plague!

Great service...food and atmosphere were perfect for the Patriots game. Folks from Bud Light were there with tons of giveaways. TVs showed multiple games. We had Julie serving us and she was always there for a drink or to tidy up the table. We had game time specials and a bucket of Bud Light. Managers checked in as well. Great spot for a game or to bring family. Definitely be back and will recommend.

Big juicy burgers , crispy fries and nice pizza. This place has good food and great deals on some days. I've never payed too much and service is quick and staff is friendly worth it every time. Don't let the outside fool you.

Had a group on, came here for lunch. Hubby had the healthy fish, I had yummy sliders. The meat in the prime rib sliders was ridiculously soft and the auju(?) dip was an unexpected surprise. The drinks were great and our bartender was super sweet even inviting us back another time. We are making this a go to place, fun reasonable, cool atmosphere, and friendly service. Everyone wins!

Luckys is a run of the mill 'bar' altho you'll be pleasantly surprised with the more than scrumptious food! The regular bar assortment of burgers, salads, fried apps, pizza and some main dishes and everything I've had has been more than the average bar food Sometimes the service isn't the best but a casual night with good food and you've got a great option at Luckys!

first let me preface and say that i don't drink alcohol. But i've been wanting to check out Lucky's because i've heard good things about their food. Last night the Bruins were playing and some friends from work said they were going to Lucky's to watch the game. So i thought this would be a good time to check 'em out! When you walk in, there's a bar to the left and booths on the right. It's dark and cozy, what's you'd expect at a sports bar. There are a lot of TV's, plus a giant big screen which was nice to watch "the big game" on. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered a basic cheeseburger, fries and Sierra Mist. I only like cheese on my burger so i can actually taste the quality of the beef. So i get my burger and it was huge! You could easily split it with someone else. It was fresh, quality beef. You can tell that from the first bite. Tasty, juicy and cooked perfectly! The fries look like they were hand cut and actually made from a potato. My soda tasted terrible and i could tell the water wasn't filtered (I live in East Providence and i have that same taste when i drink my tap) BUT this is a beer joint so, honestly, i'm not going to fault them for having terrible soda. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely go back again. I would it 4.5 stars if i could. Overall i give them: A Update: the owner replied to my post and acknowledged the issue with the soda quality and is trying to fix the issue. For showing that he cares about his "non-drinking" customers i bummed 'em up to 5 stars.

Normally a very enjoyable place to dine.... except tonight. We were pleasantly greeted and promptly seated. That was the end of a nice experience. As we sat there I saw four servers taking care a nearby table of six. No servers for us yet. About fifteen minutes later a table of four were seated right behind me with a server immediately taking their drink order. Lots of empty tables so it wasn't like they were mad-crazy on this quiet Wednesday. Nineteen minutes had passed between us being seated and the table of four behind me receiving their drinks. AND STILL NO SERVER FOR US! We decided to head for the door. On the way out I told the hostess that we still hadn't seen our server while tables seated well after us already had their drinks. She made no attempt to retain us and let us walk out the door for a different restaurant. Not sure if we'll return anytime in the near future.

I've been in quite a few times mostly in the afternoon or atleast before dinner time. The foods always great , lots of big tvs , service is good and there's a very nice bar. I've tried the Mac and cheese it was delish the wraps are always good. It is a little darker inside then some other restaurants but I like that as well it seems more calm n relaxing without spot lights over your table Over all a great little bar n restaurant

This is a strictly bar review, we came in shortly before last call which I know kind of sucks but there were plenty of people still hanging so I didn't feel like a criminal, the bartender made decent espresso martini's but made little to no conversation even when prompted... I know I'm a bit of a bar critic because I'm always behind the bottles myself but come on... When did mediocre bartending skills allow people to become completely lifeless jerks? It just doesn't make sense! So I attempted to talk to the female bartender to see if this was just one specific persons personality defect, and sadly she was just as bad, servers need to remember that customers are money, a smile and more than one word answers to questions about the restaurant or bar that employs you is beneficial, you are no better than your clientele just because you slinging drinks and customers are not blessed to have your presence, u should be thankful for theirs, I will get off the soapbox now. Perhaps next time I will try some food!

Just went to luckys for the first time..i had a groupon 30 for 15 so why not...bad idea!!!walking in was so dark i didn't even know if they where open...it took three time telling the bartender everytime i ordered something...the bbq wings were less then average..calamari was horrible..soft mushy and no flavor defiantly old and frozen...the only thing going for luckys is there general tso chicken bites...cooked perfect, great crunch, and that sauce is one of a kind...I might go back during football season cuz of all the tv and maybe try a burger but until then...dont waste your time.

I really liked this place. Don't let the outside fool you, it's really nice inside. It's large and open with lots of dark wood. There are a ton of tv's but they aren't distracting if you're just there to eat. I went around 6ish on a week night and the crowd was varied. A lot of families with kids, after work professionals and wicked cool people like me. I wasn't drinking but I glanced at the beer list and it looked like a decent selection. I started with the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious. You could easily split this with 2 peeps. I got the Irish stew for my main dish. It was definitely homemade. They were a little skimpy on the meat. I needed to give it a dash of salt and pepper for a little flavor boost. I would rather have it a little under seasoned than served with an overwhelming amount of salt any day. Service was fine and there was no attitude when I whipped out my Groupon. I am looking forward to coming back. There is a little outdoor patio area that looked fun.

I'm sorry to say Lucky's has turned into just another burger and beer joint. Like there isn't enough of these places popping up! My husband and I loved going to Lucky's because it was close to home, yes they had great burgers, variety of drinks and most important a really nice diverse menu. I used to have a hard time choosing what to order and everything was always good. Tonight I was craving an awesome salmon salad I had last time. They have changed the menu to only consist of mainly burgers, wraps and a few boring salads. We could have went to Chelo's or Applebee's if that is what we wanted. What a disappointment. I ordered a cobb salad. normally I've seen a cobb salad with some type of meat already on it. Not this one. You can choose to have chicken, tuna fish(really?) hamburger or steak tips on it for extra$. So I chose the steak. It was ok, a little difficult to cut because it comes in a bowl. My husband ordered a pub burger which was not seasoned just covered with the egg and cheese. Usually the music is loud in there but tonight it seemed extra loud. It's funny we had tried Dublin rose and thought it was boring and was happy that Lucky's would probably do better because of their variety. Now we are thinking of giving Dublin a second try. We liked Lucky's because it was different and a great place to hang out. We will not be in any hurry to come back since there is nothing different about it.

I'm updating my last review now that they've been open for a while. Wait times have gotten better. Last time we waited an hour and a half, this time we waited 45 minutes for our first app (from door to app, so not bad). I like the buffalo wings here, crispy, plump, tasty and a food portion. They have half-priced apps during the week for happy hour (4-6?) which is probably the best time to get them. I did the 2.50 sliders this recent time, got the American, pulled pork, meatball and clams. Didn't realize clams were whole belly. These were all good but I still liked the American best (caramelized onion yummm). We came on a Sunday and they had trivia, everyone was into it.

DO NOT get the Quahog's!!! Soft drinks taste funny. Bland calamari! Can't read menu, too dark. Bar food is usually either very good or very bad. This is very bad. I got charged for both ice tea and sprite when i asked for a sprite to replace the funny tasting ice tea. Coming here for drinks and sports is good.

Dissappointed. Went twice this week. Both times using Groupons which were expiring. Wednesday evening went for Big East Basketball game. Good crowd, adequate food, great waiter. Today we went for a 6:00PM Big East game. It was not on any screen but they sat us down in front of the largest screen in the house and put ESPN on for us. No sooner did they serve s our food, trapping us there, than they changed the station o a hockey game between two opponents both over 1000 miles from New England. Who could care? When I objected, two kids an a newly seated table told me to watch a real sport. The bar tender nicely changed a litle mini TV over the bar to our game but the damage was done. Food wise, my wife's salad had overdone meat and my chicken sandwich leaned toward too much mediocre, tough to chew food to eat rather than a nice piece of chicken that was cooked well and tasted good. Mushy fries. So, watching the rest of the game on my home TV, which is three times bigger than that at the bar, and drinking my own beer I vow never to return.

If your from east prov/seekonk this is the place to come have a drink. Actually if you're not from around here, make the trip. Staff is friendly and deliver great customer service. They remember regulars and treat them great. Food is excellent as well. I visit every week and will continue.

I like this place. Its well done. A bit loud to call it an upper scale place but the food is good along with the service. Parking is excellant. THe prices feel right also.

Like others have said, don't let the outside fool you. This place is big, warm, and inviting...once you get inside. Looks like a dive outside. They also have outdoor seating for warmer seasons, which is nice. Anyway, the important parts are the food and the service which are both really good, bordering on great. I've had burgers, mac and cheese, fish tacos, rubens, you name it! Everything has been consistently good, but nothing has knocked my socks off completely. Same with the service. Good and consistent..and honestly, what more can you ask for? This place has Groupon offers every once in a while which is very convenient. I would go (and have gone) here without a coupon though. Pretty standard prices. Lots of TVs for game watching and socializing. Big bar. Why only 4 stars? Well, I'm a bit of a trivia enthusiast and this place had the worst trivia EVER! To be fair, I experienced trivia night here last November, so I'm hoping things have changed. If so, great, I'll be there more often! If not, I will avoid this place on Wednesday nights!

So about a month ago we came back (for the Mac & cheese). We had another groupon. The lobster Mac and cheese had chewy lobster the time and the portions were smaller this time. Lobster Mac is market value and I think it was also more $ this time. Husband had buffalo Mac and cheese. It was better than mine but still just OK. My homemade one trump it. Overall I wasn't very impressed this time. Our bill was still about $50 for two kids meals, some soda, rolls with old tasting butter, and our mac and cheese. I think we'll stick with Chelos, at least it's consistent.

Lucky's is a combination family restaurant/sports bar, like a Chello's with more TVs on the wall. There's a good amount of parking and the menu is solid "American Family Restaurant" fare - if you ignored the graphic design of menus and just looked at the food and prices, you would not see much difference between Lucky's and any of the popular chain restaurants like Ruby Tuesdays, TGI Fridays, Chilis, etc. The food is on par with those restaurants as well. Higher quality than most diners, but if you're a foodie this may not be your thing. Whether you think Lucky's is a good place to watch a game really depends on the type of sports fan you are. I'm a Steelers fan and I love watching games with other fans - there's just not as much excitement watching it at home. However, beer + football + excitement often equals very loud shouting and cursing. This feels VERY weird to me at a place where so many families bring their kids. So personally, I prefer my sports bars to be 21+ affairs. However, if you aren't quite as exuberant in your sports-watching and are just looking for a good place to grab a burger and take in a Sox or Pats game in the Seekonk area, Lucky's seems like a good bet.

Good place. I came during happy hour were they have half price apps. I ordered the house made chips and dips. The chips were fried perfectly and were crispy which I like. It came with like a mildly spicy sour cream dip. They also have a large draft beer selection with some good IPAS. Luckys has house made Jameson mixed with banna shot, that was unique and recommenced as well. They have a lot of large tvs to watch the game as well. All in all good place to go to enjoy some drinks.

This is my favorite place on the seekonk/East Providence strip. Great atmosphere, good beer selection, and some really good scratch food. The home made chips are really good. There's also some really good appetizers (their take on general tsos chicken is excellent). The service isn't always great, but they are friendly. This is without a doubt the best place around to watch a game.

If they could only educate their servers on what it means to be a server, this place would get five stars from me. Went on a recent Friday and while the food was again spot-on (the burger was cooked perfectly), my beer glass was empty halfway through the appetizer and I had to wait for the main meal before to order another beer. The server was a nice kid but it took him 15mins to take our initial order and then I caught him sitting down with a friend of his until the owner made him stand up. They could have squeezed another beer out of me if they were only attentive about my empty mug.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Everything we've ordered from here has been really good from pasta dishes to burgers and nachos. Pizza nachos are awesome , HUGE! baked and crunchy. Build your own pasta was really good. Half price apps everyday from 4-7 ! yes please! Very accommodating for families. Great beer selection. Definitely a go to spot for us!

I went here on a busy sports night (Bruin's playoffs and a Sox game). Place was pretty busy but we were able to find a spot at the bar. Service was friendly from beginning to end. We were greeted nicely at the door and the bartenders were very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was in here. A very upscale sports bar appearance. As such, it seems to draw in a good crowd. We started off with their homemade potato chips which was recommended by another yelper. They were excellent. If you like "cape cod" style chips, you have to try these. They served them with a dipping sauce that had some zing to it (horseradish as an ingredient?). For dinner I had the Guinness stew and my GF had the steak sandwich. Both very good. Menu consists of typical pub grub with a few additional entrees. Prices were fair. I would definitely come back.

LOVE LUCKY'S!! The food and staff are always great! The atmosphere is awesome, with a full bar and lots of big screen TVs. They have delicious mac and cheese, pizza and burgers. I'd say my favorite dish is the lobster mac and cheese, and the best part is that they offer half size portions and full size portions to accommodate for every eater. For an appetizer, you have to try the Dublin nachos with their own homemade chips.

Great sports bar with a nice neighborhood feel. Above average entrees for a pub and fairly priced. The place isn't too large so you will have to wait for a table on the weekends but it is worth it for the food. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is they are a bit stingy on the drinks. Your pint of Guinness will not be a pint it will be 12 ounces. A on the food...B on the drinks.

Pleasantly surprised! I pass this place all the time and thought since the windows are always blacked out/blinds are closed that it might be a shady pub. It's not!! Ambiance is more of an upscale sports bar. It's typical bar food but GOOD! Homemade fries, yummy chowder, and juicy burgers. I'll be back!

Great food. The house chips are a must. Burgers are juicy and tasty. I have had very positive experiences with the service as well and have been there about 6-7 times in the last two months

Came here to watch American Pharaoh win the Triple Crown. Great draft beer selection and full bar. We ordered an appetizer to tide us over until the race was over and it filled us up. Good pub food and large portions. Bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. Patrons at the bar were friendly and very enthusiastic about the race. I will definitely come back! PS I think the owner was on premisis.

A tasty crock bowl of onion soup with melty cheese and a perfectly cooked burger with crumbly and more melty blue cheese with caramelized onions omg wow delish. I was out shopping on route 6 in Seekonk and decided I needed a holiday shopping break and drove back down the road of chaos to Lucky's and made my own day. lol. I cannot say that I have ever made my own day, but I did! It was a quiet Sunday and I got a chance to watch five games at once and eat good. The staff is always nice and the food comes out fast which is the name of the game, as long as you feed me fast Im good. I hate waiting and usually for good food I will wait a little longer than normal, but with Luckys the food is pretty simple and doesnt take long. Its just as tasty! I would definately recommend this place to anyone who lives anywhere near east providence or Seekonk, worth it.....

Lucky's is a good local bar if you are looking to grab a bite to eat and to watch a game in a casual atmosphere. It isn't a full on sports bar though, because you definitely get a good amount of families that come here to dine as well. During the winter months this place can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so be prepared for a little bit of a wait. In my opinion the food is your run of the mill selection of pub fare (burgers, sandwiches, pizzas), with pretty generous sized portions. They also have a respectable amount of draft beers available and seem to rotate different seasonal ones in. Prices seem to be pretty reasonable for what you get. While the waitstaff is friendly, the service can be hit or miss sometimes depending on how busy they are. Overall I like Lucky's and find myself here every now and again when visiting my parents. Not quite a 3 or 4 star in my book but easily would give them 3 1/2 and know I will most likely be back again.

Great to watch a game and grab a few drinks... The food leaves a bit to be desired. It's super close to home for me so it's convenient. They have a trivia night (which I hate) and sometimes live music (which I love) Worth checking out if you love sports bars!

Have been to Lucky's a few times, was in there at lunch time to hear a Gary Busey looking gentleman f-bombing the wait staff within an earshot of customers, also referring to elderly patrons as "geezers" when I asked who this sad excuse of a man was I was told he was THE OWNER, I was also told he treats his employees terribly (which was witnessed first hand). I would never ever go back EVER

Okay so I came here cause they served bacon at the bar, had to see what that was all about. And it's worth the visit. Pretty decent beer selection, haven't had Abita revolution ale sine the crawfish boil. Bartender recommended the buffalo Mac and cheese did not disappoint. Not healthy but get they serve buckets of bacon on Thursday. Great vibe. Friendly crowd. If I lived here this would definitely be a regular place
